'''[https://unbina.re Unbinare]''' is an e-waste reverse engineering lab. Our objective is to reduce e-waste by finding means to repurpose discarded electronic devices that are either operational or beyond repair. We would like to make people aware of alternative uses that exist for their devices. We believe that when devices are discarded, they should not be prematurely identified as waste. We believe that reuse, repair and ultimately repurposing devices will help slow down the surge of e-waste which is characterized by the shortening lifespan of electronic devices. Factors such as planned obsolescence, the inability to repair devices and firmware support ending for devices that have reached end-of-life all contribute to this surge of e-waste.  

In order to meet this objective, we create hardware and software tools that assist in the analysis and reverse engineering of discarded devices and their components to help reimagine what these devices could become next. Finding new uses for discarded devices requires research and development and this wiki publicly documents our process. All of our projects are under continuous development and will be updated regularly.
